Sammy's Point

8m.-25m./26ft.-82ft. in depth, opposite of Secret bay, sometimes called Sammy's Garden. It is a garden  of wide variety of soft corals found by late Sammy Mendoza a well known macro guide in Anilao. This site has lots of crabs, shrimp and Coleman shrimp on Fire urchins. It is a slope of loss gravel and sand patches, no big rocks but enormous number of soft corals that made the site look like a garden, You have to look closer on each soft coral because there they live some commensal shrimp transparent soft coral, spider crabs on some of the black corals. Slight to moderate current can be very tricky sometimes because it flows toward Mainit point. Great for macro photography.
