Discover Scuba Diving

Discover Scuba Diving (For beginners who want to try first time diving)
Php 4,000  per person including gear, 2 to 3 hours, one on one with our dive pro, one dive on the open water.

What is Discover Scuba Diving?
The  Discover Scuba Diving program  is not a course it is an entry level program that let you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a Dive Professional in pool or pool-like conditions. During your adventure, you'll master some basic concepts and scuba skills and might even head off to experience an open water adventure.

Prerequisite?
Minimum age: 10 

What can I do?
Discover excitement and explore the adventure - freedom and serenity. Nothing compares to the "weightless" exhilaration of breathing underwater. Only a diver knows the feeling!

How long does it take?
2 to 3 hours. Get ready to dive today. Instructor briefing with the Discover Scuba Diving Flip Chart, you'll enter the water quickly for short practice and ready for your scuba adventure.

Scuba Diver and Open Water dive course


Scuba Diver

Php 18,000 Course Fee
2 days, including gear rental, elearning and ecard.

What is Scuba Diver?
The Scuba Diver program is a pre-entry level certification that is perfect for vacationers or people who only plan to dive a couple times a year. As a subprogram of the Open Water Diver program, the Scuba Diver rating allows you to get certified quickly and easily by minimizing time constraints. With the Scuba Diver certification you can dive under the direct supervision of a Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, Instructor or higher professional on your next vacation or dive trip.

Prerequisite?
Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a Scuba Diver certification. If you are between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, there is a Junior Scuba Diver program available.

Minimum age: 10 

What can I do?
Throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing pool dives, knowledge development sessions and by making two open water (ocean ) dives.

How long does it take?
2 days. The program is performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you.

Where can I go from here?
After completing the Scuba Diver program, you'll want to continue your dive education and the Open Water Diver certification to explore more dive opportunities.


Open Water Diver

Php 24,000 Course Fee
3 days, including gear rental, elearning and ecard.

 What is Open Water Diver course?
As a certified Open Water Diver, the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world, you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional. If you already tried a Discover Scuba Diving experience or are Scuba Diver certified, check with your instructor to see how credit from these courses may apply to the open water program.

Prerequisite?
Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a Open Water Diver certification. You must be older than the age of 14 to begin the Open Water Diver program. For those of you who are not above the age of 14 and would like to participate in the Open Water Diver Program, then the Jr Open Water Diver program is available to you. If you are between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, there is a Junior Open Water Diver program available.

A Jr Open Water Diver between the ages of 10 and 11 years may only dive with a PADI Professional, a certified parent or certified guardian to a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet.

What can I do?
Throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing five pool dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water dives.

How long does it take?
3 full days  . The program is performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you.

Adventure and Advanced Open Water diver course

Adventure Diver

Php 18,000 Course Fee
1 day, including gear rental, elearning and ecard.

What is Adventure Diver?
Have you always wanted to try underwater photography? How about wreck diving? Here's your chance because you can sample three dives of your choice, get a taste of what you like, and feel more comfortable in the water, strengthening your underwater skills and letting you enjoy diving more than ever.

Prerequisite?
Open Water Diver or Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)

Minimum age: 
15 years old (10 for Junior Adventure Diver) 

What can I do?
This certification includes three of the following Adventure Dives:

Adventure Dives available to divers 10 years old and older: 

  • AWARE-Fish Identification 

  • Underwater Naturalist 
  • Boat Diver 
  • Underwater Navigator 
  • Peak Performance Buoyancy 
  • Underwater Photographer
  • Underwater Digital Photographer

Additional Adventure Dives available to divers 12 years old and older: 

  • Multilevel Diver 

  • Deep Diver 
  • Night Diver 
  • Diver Propulsion Vehicle 
  • Search and Recovery Diver 
  • Drift Diver 
  • Underwater Videographer

How long does it take?
1 Day . Maximum Open Water Training: three dives over one day 

Where can I go from here?
Adventure Dives can also count towards Specialty Diver certifications. If you liked your Night Adventure Dive so much that you wanted to take a complete Night Diver Specialty course, your Night Adventure Dive can count as the first dive of that specialty.


Advanced Open water diver

Php 20,000 Course Fee
2 days, including gear rental, elearning and ecard.

After your Adventure Diver certification you can take the next step by completing two more adventure dives. If you've completed five total adventure dives that include deep and navigation, you're an Advanced Open Water Diver.

How long does it take?
2 days. Maximum Open Water Training: three dives over one day 2 days total

Where can I go from here?
Adventure Dives can also count towards Specialty Diver certifications. If you liked your Night Adventure Dive so much that you wanted to take a complete Night Diver Specialty course, your Night Adventure Dive can count as the first dive of that specialty. Another step is taking Emergency First Response and become a responder then continue your education and become a Rescue Diver.


EFR training and Rescue Diver course

 

EFR Emergency First Response 

Php 8,000 EFR  Course Fee
1 ro 2 days depending on how many person, book and ecard.

What is Emergency First Response?
You will complete a series of  exercises that will lead you to perform primary and secondary care.

Prerequisite?
None.

What can I do?
You will learn the basic knowledge of First Aid and CPR.

How long does it take?
Normally 8 hours.

Rescue Diver  

Php 24,000 Course Fee
4 days, including ecard,

What is Rescue Diver course?
Rewarding and fun – that best describes the Rescue Diver course. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level: Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence.

Prerequisite?
Minimum age: 12 years old
Be certified as a Advanced open water diver or have a certification from another organization. This is defined as proof of certification beyond entry level (at least two certifications total) Diver, must have proof of at least 20 or more logged dives documenting experience in deep diving and underwater navigation. Before certification you must have proof or CPR training within the past twenty-four months.

What can I do?
Course Description: Serious Fun! Learn to look after yourself and others! Rescue Diver program will build your confidence as a diver, give you valuable experience in emergency management and prevention and heighten your awareness of the surrounding environment. Sections on self-rescue, diver stress, diving first aid, emergency management, equipment problems will prepare you to handle almost any emergency whether on the shoreline or in the water. The Rescue Diver Course is widely accepted as one of the most challenging, rewarding and fun dive courses available!

The course is divided into three parts:

  1. Knowledge Development: by elearning

  2. Rescue Training Exercise Sessions: 

    Self Rescue review
    Exercise 1 – Tired Diver
    Exercise 2 - Panicked Diver
    Exercise 3 - Response from Shore, Boat
    Exercise 4 - Distressed Diver Underwater
    Exercise 5 – Missing Diver
    Exercise 6 – Surfacing the unresponsive diver
    Exercise 7 – Unconscious Diver at the surface
    Exercise 8 – Exiting the unresponsive diver
    Exercise 9 – First Aid for Pressure-related injuries and Oxygen Administration
    Exercise 10 – Response from Shore/Boat Unresponsive Diver

  3. Open Water Rescue Scenarios:

    You will have the opportunity to put everything you have learned into practice, handling diving incidents as part of a team.

What is Master Scuba Diver?
Master Scuba Diver rating, is  the highest non professional level in the scuba system of diver education. It means that you’ve acquired significant training and experience in a variety of dive environments.

Prerequisite?
Minimum age: 12 years old

  • Be certified as a Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization).

  • Be certified as a Rescue Diver or Junior Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization). 
  • With 5 Specialty Diver certification
  • Have logged a minimum of 50 open water dives .

What can I do?
Want it. Live it. Dive it. Master Scuba Diver. This rating puts you in a class of distinction. You earn it by diving it, writing your ticket to endless adventure through the experience and training that set you apart as a Master Scuba Diver.

How long does it take?
5 days atleast. or can be done on week end basis.

What will I need?
The following materials are required unless they are unavailable in a language understood by the student diver.

  • 5 Specialty elearning

  • Master Scuba Diver application Fee ( not included in the course fee )

Continue to Divemaster course and become one of the scuba dive Professional.

 



Divemaster course

 

Divemaster course

Php 75,000 Course Fee
7 days minimum
including elearning, Divemaster crew pack and application fee.

What is a Divemaster?
Take the first step in your dive career and become a Divemaster. Working closely with a scuba Instructor, you'll expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills as you become a dive professional. Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.

Prerequisite?
Minimum age: 18 years old

  • Be certified as a Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent).

  • Be certified as a Rescue Diver (or equivalent). 
  • Have logged a minimum of 40 open water dives prior to entry into Divemaster training, and completed and logged a minimum of 60 open water dives with experience in night, deep and navigation prior to certification as a Divemaster.
  • Be in good physical condition for diving and submit a medical exam form signed by a physician. 

What can I do?

  • Work at local dive centers, on live-aboard dive boats, yachts and at exotic resort locations 

  • Assist scuba Instructors with students
  • Lead  certified Scuba Divers on guided dive tours
  • Teach and certify Skin Divers
  • Teach Discover Snorkeling programs
  • Conduct Scuba Review programs for certified divers
  • Lead certified divers on Discover Local Diving experiences
  • Teach Emergency First Response programs after successful completion of an Emergency First Response Instructor course.

How long does it take?
7 days atleast. or can done on week end basis.

What will I need?
The following materials are required unless they are unavailable in a language understood by the student diver.

  • Divemaster Manual* 

  • Recreational Dive Planner (RDP) – all three versions (Table, Wheel and eRDPML including associated Instructions for Use booklets)
  • The Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving 
  • Divemaster Slates 
Instructor Guides for the programs that may be conducted by Divemasters.
